Dear Friends,

In the recent primary Terry Falk
finished first, ahead of the incumbent,
Joe Dannecker, 44% to 37%. Falk is ready to roll up his sleeves and get
to work. But he needs your help to win the Milwaukee School Board 8th
District seat on April 3.

We have a lot of work to do to improve our schools. Joe Dannecker refers
to the current decline of our Milwaukee Public schools as "reform." We
call it regressive, and we deserve better!

In 2003, Dannecker received 60% of his campaign funding from out of
state, including voucher advocates such as the Walton Family of
Wal-Mart. Checks flowed from places like New York and Wyoming to fund
Dannecker's campaign.

Terry Falk receives most of his campaign funding from people within the
city of Milwaukee...hard-working people who have a vested interest in
seeing their community prosper.

Terry Falk promises to put Milwaukee's interests first. As a career
educator, he knows how to make education work. As a journalist, he's
learned how to dig for the truth.
