Russ Feingold: Support Paula Zellner

Today I'm contacting you regarding Paula Zellner, my State Field Director, and current member of the Democratic National Committee.  As you may know, Paula is planning to run for reelection to her position on the DNC and I ask that you join me in supporting her at our State Democratic Convention on June 13th - 14th in Stevens Point.

Today I'm contacting you regarding Paula Zellner, my State Field Director, and current member of the Democratic National Committee.  As you may know, Paula is planning to run for reelection to her position on the DNC and I ask that you join me in supporting her at our State Democratic Convention on June 13th - 14th in Stevens Point.

Paula has traveled the state and met with activists on my behalf for over five years.  After my 2004 election, I felt so strongly about her effectiveness as my statewide field director that I asked Paula to continue working for me and to take the lead in expanding our grassroots efforts and further develop a progressive Democratic presence across all of Wisconsin's 72 counties.

I know that Paula's continuing energy for her job comes from the connections she has developed with you and her appreciation for all that you do every day to support me and other Democrats at all levels.

Paula has been a great asset not just to me here in Wisconsin but to the National Democratic Party as well.  She shares with me the philosophy that we must have a strong "50 state strategy" if we are to be effective in mobilizing Democrats across the country.  Her continued role as a member of the DNC will be vital in our combined effort to elect Democrats at all levels in Wisconsin and across the country.

I hope you will join me in supporting Paula at the Wisconsin State Democratic Convention in June.
