Dear Fellow Democrats,

I’m excited to announce the launch of our first House Party program: Fired Up for Feingold!

As many of you know, house parties are small, grassroots campaign events organized and hosted by dedicated supporters. They are a fun way to meet fellow progressives in your community, to raise financial support for the campaign, and, most importantly, to fire up people for Russ’s 2010 reelection campaign. Our first round of House Parties will be held on Wednesday, June 24, and we’re asking YOU to take the lead and organize the first House Party in your community.

Many of you have been asking about how to personally get more involved in helping Russ, and this House Party program was one of the ideas that came directly from supporters. We are following your lead, and want to help you to organize a successful event. We will provide all hosts with the following:

  • Help setting up a personalized RSVP and donation page
  • A House Party kit including bumper stickers, contribution forms, and a door prize
  • Promotion of the house parties on our campaign website

And that’s not all. During the parties Russ’s Campaign Manager, George Aldrich, will lead a conference call where you and your guests will receive an exclusive briefing of our campaign strategy for 2010.

Our goal is to have simultaneous parties all across the state in support of Russ. House Parties are a great way for you to help us demonstrate the strong grassroots support you have helped build for Russ since his 2004 campaign. Your familiarity with Russ makes you an ideal host. Please consider signing up for this exciting project.
