Feingold Volunteers Needed - Racine July 4 parade
If you haven’t been to the Racine July 4th parade – now is the time! If you have been there before then we really need your help with navigating the huge crowds. Turnout for this parade is usually close to 100,000 people.
We need your help in Racine for the largest July 4th celebration in the state. We want to have a very visible campaign presence at this event and ask that you, your family and friends meet us in Racine on Saturday morning the 4th to help demonstrate our strong support for Russ.

Unfortunately, Russ won’t be able to attend parade himself which is why it is so important that we have a large group of volunteers walking the sidewalks distributing bumper stickers and asking people to sign endorsement forms for Russ. Our challenge is to gather more endorsement forms than the volunteers did at the Brewers’ Home Opener – 311 supporters signed forms on that day!
We will have t-shirts for you at wear the day of the parade, clipboards with endorsement forms and bumper stickers to hand out. We will meet at 7:30am at the corner of Main Street and 14th. This is near the end of the parade where the route turns off Main and heads down 14th for a few blocks. Please plan to come early enough so that you can find a parking spot and meet us by 7:30. We will work the crowds for an hour or two and then take time to watch the parade itself, which officially begins at 9:00am.
