Mission Statement
The Latino Outreach Program seeks to reach out to the thousands of Latino voters in the Southside of Milwaukee. We believe that year round, on-the-ground organizing and connecting directly with our community will lead to a systemic change. We want to hear about the needs and concerns of the Latino community to better understand what the Democratic party needs to change and to push the Democratic party to listen to the needs of the community. We believe that community building will aid us in creating a better presence of the Democratic party in the Southside.

Creemos que debemos de estar organizándonos todo el año y tenemos que tener una conexión directa con nuestra comunidad dará lugar a un cambio sistémico. Here is what we want to accomplish:
Set up permanent year-round organizing in the Southside of Milwaukee
Set up a permanent office for the Democratic Party in the Southside of Milwaukee
Build a local pipeline from youth fellows and paid canvasser to full-time organizers
Staff the office with local, bilingual organizers who are from the community
Host community events and create a community space
Conduct a Community Survey to identify key issues relevant to Latino voters
